Retreat Overview
Join our supportive community of Women for a four-night and five-day transformative experience. We all hold a lot (family, personal, community, and work commitments) and we welcome you just as you are! By the end of this retreat, you will leave rejuvenated, having gotten in touch with your inner Goddess and gained a greater connection to YOUR mind, body, and spirit. You will be guided to discover and affirm ways you care for yourself, develop personal rituals that work for you, and build priceless connections.
This retreat is for women of all identities, and we welcome folks across all racial and ethnic backgrounds, ages, abilities, sexual orientations, as well as our trans sisters and nonbinary folks who are comfortable in a women-centered space. The center is located in Kaʻaʻawa, Hawaiʻi, a small beach community nestled between spectacular mountains and beautiful white sand beaches.

New Year Releasing Fire Ceremony
Bring in the New Year with a releasing fire ceremony under the stars. In this circle of healing, take the opportunity to release the things that no longer serve you and create space to welcome in the new.
Embodiment Workshop
Embodiment is a term used to describe the mind and body connection. During this workshop, you will use your body as a tool for healing through self-awareness, mindfulness, connection, self-regulation, finding balance, and creating self-acceptance.
We will begin to create a somatic declaration to live into for the new year. Unlike new year's resolutions or mantras which we may quickly forget, a somatic declaration is a commitment to embodying who we aspire to be, with steps to take along the way to hold yourself accountable..
Nature Bathing Workshop
Known in Japan as Shinrin-Yoku, nature bathing is the process of immersing ourselves in nature to reach a state of relaxation. Nature bathing is a proven way to de-stress and boost health and well-being in a natural way.
Tapping into Your Inner Goddess Workshop
Gain a deeper understanding of who you are and how to honor your needs, wants, and desires as you move throughout life.
Free Time To Explore
You are worthy and deserving of rest. This retreat offers open time for intentional R&R (rest and relaxation). We want you to have time to enjoy the beach, wander the nearby forest, or find a shaded tree to take a nap.
Goddess Flying Dress Photoshoot
QUEEN! It's time to shine. We have curated this trip with you in mind. During our Goddess Celebration, we will have a professional photoshoot by Stacey Williams Photography
Dresses go up to US size 30 and will be provided for the shoot.
Retreat Acknowledgment
First and foremost, we want to acknowledge that our retreat utilizes concepts and tools that have been around for centuries and used in many cultures globally. This includes but is not limited to the following cultures: African, Hawaiian, Japanese, Native American, and Indian.
The facilitators utilizing these tools and concepts are experts and have spent years learning how to lead with respect for the cultures in which our workshops are rooted. We are grateful for the wisdom that has been passed down over countless generations so we can share it with you.
We want to acknowledge and honor the Kānaka Maoli (Native Hawaiians) who are native to this land and persist throughout having experienced forcible removal and migration, gentrification, and other forces. We are privileged to have access to such a beautiful piece of land that allows humans and wildlife to prosper. It is our duty to respect the land, its resources, and culture by leaving this land in the same if not better condition than which it was found and respecting the local community.

Meet Your Hosts
Sydney Jackson-Clockston
Co-Host and Facilitator
Sydney (she/her) is a Certified Master Coach, Author, Speaker, Trainer, and Event Designer who is committed to empowering her clients with holistic leadership development. Sydney is known for her ability to curate transformational experiences much like the Passion Over Perfection Retreat to empower and celebrate women.
When Sydney is not out in the community supporting advocacy efforts for mental health and disabilities you can find her hanging out with her partner and fur babies, exploring the newest exhibits at one of her local museums, meeting up with friends to check out a new food spot or at the movies catching the newest action film.
Sarah Rimmel
Co-Host and Facilitator
Sarah Rimmel (she/they), Founder of Slow Integration Coaching, is a heart-centered ICF-certified somatic coach, facilitator, and educator who embraces play, repair in relationships, and learning moment by moment. Sarah supports clients in discovering and embracing the diversity within themselves. This particularly shows up for clients by re-integrating body-mind-spirit and tending to the parts of themselves that hold shame or dislike.
Sarah is a queer biracial woman, adult-child-of an alcoholic, auntie, dreamer, and tea-drinker who has been long committed to healing, justice, and growing our own sense of rootedness, belonging, and wholeness.
